George RR Martin Claims Three 'Game of Thrones' Spinoffs Are 'Moving Forward Nicely'
By Olivia Montine

With many Game of Thrones fans wondering what they'll possibly do with their time once the series ends in a mere three episodes, author George R.R. Martin has spoken some comforting words to the fan base.
The author of A Song of Ice and Fire series, which the HBO TV show is based, has been pretty open on the status of possible spinoffs for the series--and now he's claiming more than one will in fact be done.
Although Martin doesn't like the term spinoffs, and instead opts to call them "successor shows," he says we are not finished with Westeros yet.

Martin said in a blog post, according to CNN, that the team has, "five different GAME OF THRONES successor shows in development (I mislike the term "spinoffs") at HBO, and three of them are still moving forward nicely...The one I am not supposed to call THE LONG NIGHT will be shooting later this year, and two other shows remain in the script stage, but are edging closer."
Fans will have to wait and see what the universe of Game of Thrones holds next.
