Being the Queen of Westeros didn’t quite pan out for Khaleesi, but luckily she has found a new gig. It was announced this month that Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke has joined the Clinique family as their new Global Ambassador.

Harper’s Bazaar reports that the 33-year-old actor shared her excitement about the position in the video below on her Instagram, along with the caption:

“I AM SO OVER THE RUDDY MOON TO ANNOUNCE THAT I AM THE GLOBAL AMBASSADOR FOR @clinique ! hello 2020 you magical beauty you..... Here’s a little insight into how my skin is feeling today and how I give it some love in the post-Christmas January blues.... But what about you insta world!? What makes you, YOU?”

The Last Christmas star also said in a brand statement:

“I am so proud to join Clinique as the new Global Brand Ambassador. It is a skincare brand I have regularly used and to now be part of that family is such an honor. I love the confidence and happiness it brings to the people using their products. Not only is Clinique timeless, but I'm proud to work with a brand that makes people feel included for who they are, and unapologetic about helping them to create great skin—no matter what their skin concern is.”

Dany might not be so great with fire safety, but she does have some beautiful skin.
