Florence Pugh puts record straight on dating rumors circulating her and Will Poulter

In the last few days social media, in particular TikTok, has been flooded with fan theories and speculations that the Midsommar co-stars Florence Pugh and Will Poulter are dating, after a series of photographs circulated online showing the two actors acting cozy while out enjoying the beach while on vacation together.

But it seems that the Black Widow actress has had enough with speculation and is setting the record straight. Taking to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, May 24, the 26-year-old actress addressed the romance rumors.

She wrote in a lengthy caption on her Instagram story: “No, Will Poulter and I are not dating. We went to the beach with our friends, who are always about half a metre away from us in every picture, but have been cleverly cut out/framed out so that it looks otherwise."

And continued to point out, "You can LITERALLY see my best friend in the corner of so many shots and Archie's arms at the aides."

"I understand that the nature of this job is that you sometimes get your privacy completely bulldozed by paparazzi, but to fabricate this stuff actually does more damage than good."

But made sure to finish on a high note, "Thanks for saying we look sexy ... doesn't mean we're doing the sexy."
