Fans who have been following Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra on MTV since their 16 and Pregnant days know that the pair's journey in parenthood hasn't always been easy. The two made the extremely difficult decision to give their first child, Carly, up for for adoption in 2009, and since have been dedicated to still be part of their daughter's life. We've seen on Teen Mom OG how difficult that's been at times over the years, but at the end of the day, Cate and Tyler are lucky to have such supportive adopted parents for Carly in Brandon and Teresa Davis.

While Carly has been featured on Teen Mom briefly, Catelynn is now opening up on how that might change in the new season, and moving forward as her first born gets older. While speaking to E! News, the 28-year-old Michigan native explained, "We are in the process of talking with her parents about having another visit and if we can make it all work for everyone, then we will definitely try and do it."

And now, it's not just Brandon and Teresa's choice as to how much Carly will be on TV—it's also Carly's. Cate continued:

"Carly is getting older and she's about to be 11 and it's gotten to a point where her parents want to keep her private, which we respect. But another part of it is that she's older and she's going to be explaining to her friends what her adoption story looks like from her view of it. I think it's important for her to be able to share with people going through it and share her story. And her parents aren't on a TV show and they like to have a private life, which I completely understand and it just comes from respecting their wishes and what they see for Carly and Carly's future and her being able to tell her own story when she's ready."

Although there's a chance Carly's screen time will be decreasing, that doesn't mean we'll be getting less of Catelynn and Tyler, who are also parents to five-year-old Novalee and one-year-old Vaeda. Get ready to see the beloved family once again in the new season of Teen Mom OG, which premieres tonight on MTV.
