Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes Hint at Another Collaboration Coming

Somehow, three years have gone by since Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes dropped the ultimate duet, I Know What You Did Last Summer.

The pair posted matching black-and-white pictures to Instagram last week, sparking rumors that another collab is on the way. In the photo, Camila is holding an acoustic guitar and possibly singing, while Shawn faces her.

Though neither artist has announced a collab publicly, a pair of Instagram comments from the artists is a major hint that one may be coming soon.

“IKWYDLS part 2????” Camila commented on Shawn’s post, using the acronym for the 2015 hit single. Shawn’s response seems like a possible confirmation of the collaboration. “IKWYDLS PART 2!!!!” he replied.

Although these comments point to another exciting team-up, Shawn denied just a few months ago that him and Camila were working together. “I’m sorry to break the hearts of many people,” Shawn told Capital FM. Rumors of a collab sparked after him and Camila had been spotted in Nashville at the same time this past September. “It’s not true,” he confirmed.

Fans took to Twitter this time around to discuss their hopes that the two artists were going to create a song together again.

This better not be a joke.

Camila and Shawn are good friends, so it’s possible that the pair was just hanging out and having fun, but, for the sake of their fans, we really hope that they weren’t just teasing.
