Brie Larson Fuels Rumors She Could Be in Kevin Feige's 'Star Wars' Movie

Brie Larson has gained serious popularity by swooping into our hearts as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Captain Marvel, but now she is stirring up attention about another major franchise on social media.

Fans were shocked when it was recently announced that Marvel Studios' big boss, Kevin Feige, would be trying his hand at making a Star Wars film. ScreenRant reports that details about the story, as well as when the film will come out, has yet to be announced, but it has been reported that he has approached a major actor to star in the film.

Of course, upon hearing this news, both the Star Wars and MCU fandoms exploded with speculation about who the actor could be, and though there has been a slew of names thrown about on social media, Larson’s name is at the top of the list.

And she is having some fun with the rumors. The 29-year-old actress posted a picture of herself on Twitter this week dressed like a Jedi with the caption, “Did someone say Star Wars?!” This isn’t the first time the actor has expressed interest in the franchise. Larson stated earlier this year that she “wants to be a Jedi,” as well as attended opening day of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

All teasing aside, we will have to wait and see if Larson dons a new uniform in Feige’s upcoming Star Wars film.
