Briana DeJesus Explains Falling Out of Love With John Rodriguez on 'Teen Mom 2' Reunion Show

After about a year of dating, Teen Mom 2 star Briana DeJesus abruptly broke up with John Rodriguez in a text message. Fans were confused at the move, as they had watched her fall deeply in love with the New Yorker, despite their long distance. When she announced the split, she said that she was wanting to focus on her busy schedule, but it turns out it was a little more complicated than that.

E! News reports that the 25-year-old reality star sat down with her co-stars to shoot the reunion episode for the recent season. During her interview, she opened up about what went wrong with the postal worker, saying, "I just stopped liking him. I stopped loving him. It was something. I woke up one morning and I said I'm not happy. I don't think he's the one for me. He'll say it's all my fault. He says that he never had 100% of me."

The MTV star did admit she had hoped that John would put effort into keeping her, telling Dr. Drew and Nessa, “It sucks because I kicked him to the curb but he didn't fight to be with me either. I wanted him to fight for me but he didn't.”

Fans will also get to hear John’s side of things in the second part of the episode, but it doesn’t seem like reconciliation is in the future. The mom-of-two concluded the conversation by saying, “We're done so there's nothing for me to say to him. I think after today, I will never see him again.”

Part two of the Teen Mom 2 reunion special airs Dec. 10 on MTV.
