Ariana Grande Updates Pete Davidson 'Always' Tattoo
By Olivia Montine

While they say you should never get a tattoo with a significant other, if anyone can pull it off it's Ariana Grande. Even after her breakup, she managed to update and give new meaning to her "Always" tattoo inspired by ex-fiancé Pete Davidson.
The star went over the reminder of her relationship with a vine of leaves instead, making sure to note she's not covering up the tattoo. She captioned her Instagram picture showing off her new ink, "post run thrus, 3 am with @girlknewyork :) not a cover up just evolvin."
The Thank U, Next singer's caption makes it clear that while the era of her romance with Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson has come to an end, there isn't bad blood--only growth.
This comes after news broke that Davidson had also covered up a piece of relationship ink, a tattoo on the back of his neck that read "Mille Tendresse," or "a thousand tendernesses," which Grande also has. The saying was covered up with the word "Cursed," which led many fans to think there was tension between the exes. While cryptic, there hasn't been confirmation of the tat's meaning one way or another.
Grande's strategic caption puts our minds at ease that the two aren't on bad terms, and we're glad to see her moving on so gracefully.
