During the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, Amber Portwood is lending a helping hand from a socially safe distance. The Teen Mom OG star just donated a ton of masks to a hospital in her home state of Indiana, reports People.

Amber generously gave Richmond State Hospital 1,000 face masks. The reality star told People of her donation, "Here in the Midwest we're getting hit pretty hard. We called around to a couple places. I just wanted to do my part any way that I could, and the first place that called us back was Richmond State Hospital. We just kind of asked them 'What do you need most at the moment?' and they said they needed 95 masks."

The star explained that she went the extra mile without hesitation, adding that she was "happy that [she] was able to help."

Apparently, Amber's efforts won't end with the masks. She continued, "When something like this happens, it's a shock. I'm thinking about starting a GoFundMe page for supplies. I couldn't do what I wanted to. I'm not a multimillionaire. I had this sense of guilt because I wanted to do more. Now, I'm trying to think of what else I can do."

Like the rest of us, Amber said she she continues to do her part by social distancing, and encouraged Teen Mom fans to do the same.
