Amber Portwood Celebrates Daughter Leah's 11th Birthday With Heartfelt Instagram Post

Amber Portwood shared the most beautiful post for her daughter Leah's birthday. Her eldest just turned 11 and in honor of her big day, the mom-of-two wrote in her lengthy caption, "You are everything and more."

Amber's beautiful post comes at a tense time for the Teen Mom star, who is in a full custody battle with her ex, Andrew Glennon, after a violent fight this summer, where Amber was charged with domestic battery. TMZ leaked audio recordings of the fight, which was tough to listen to. During the altercation, Andrew asked Amber if she was suicidal. He then locked himself in a different room and Amber allegedly attacked the door with a machete.

It has been a difficult time for everyone involved, Leah included. As we previously reported, Leah's father, Gary Shirley, and his wife, Kristina Shirley, spoke about the incident on Teen Mom OG. Kristina said, "I wish we could just wake up and say it was a dream," adding that Leah was concerned about her step-brother James. Leah apparently asked Kristina, "If Mommy goes back to prison, what happens to James? Will James be taken away from me as well?"

These heartbreaking comments obviously hit home for the whole family. So it's extra heartwarming to see Amber got a chance to share her love for Leah on her birthday.
