Fans of the Netflix rom-com classic To All the Boys I've Loved Before probably already know of the news that the wildly successful flick has been greenlit for a sequel, but the cherry on top has just been announced--the follow up to the 2018 film is adding Ross Butler of 13 Reasons Why and Riverdale fame to the cast.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the 28-year-old actor will be taking on the role of the best friend to Peter Kavinsky, a.k.a. actor Noah Centineo. We fell in love with Peter in the first film, and we love Ross in all of his roles, so we're looking forward to seeing the power duo together in a film. Not to mention--they're close friends in real life, too.

“We’re thrilled to announce that the endlessly charming Ross Butler has joined the cast of theTo All the Boys sequel as Trevor Pike,” Matt Kaplan, the film's producer, told EW. “His real-life friendship with Noah brings a natural chemistry and great rapport to the set and we can’t wait for fans to see this friendship play out onscreen.”

Lana Condor is also coming back for the sequel, based on the second of three books in the series by Jenny Han. Here's hoping all three books get made into movies--we can't get enough of Lana and Noah.
