Why the Internet is Angry With Kendall Jenner Over Her Bottle Cap Challenge Video

Kendall Jenner jumped in on the viral bottle cap challenge after she was apparently nominated by Hailey Baldwin. While on vacation, the model decided to do the task on a jet ski in the ocean and, as you can see in the video below, accomplished it nicely.

While the stunt was awesome, people are freaking out over the fact that the bottle cap fell into the ocean, according to Cosmopolitan. One user wrote, "There goes another bottle cap [into] the ocean. Don’t try this at home!"

Another commented, "Do not throw plastic into the sea." And a third said, "Great job Kendall! Now try to pick [up] the plastic before it sinks on the sea and a turtle eats it. Will you?"

However, it turns out all of this outrage is unnecessary, because Kendall wrote early on in the comments section that she had in fact picked up the bottle cap.

So all the negative energy was for nothing. Of course we have to be careful with any plastic or garbage getting into the ocean, but since nothing harmful stayed in the water, it all looks like good fun to us.
