Exciting news broke on Wednesday that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are welcoming a fourth child to the family, a goal Kim has had for a while.
The couple is expecting the child via surrogate, and they're thrilled with the process.
"The surrogate is well into the pregnancy," a source told E! News. "She is due in May and everything looks good. Kim and Kanye have known for awhile and are very excited. They had one male embryo left and are thrilled it has worked out. Kim always wanted four kids and having two boys and two girls feels perfect."
This time around, however, the couple is not using the same surrogate that carried baby Chicago, according to E! News. An insider told the outlet that the original surrogate recently got pregnant on her own, so Kim picked a new one over the summer.
Another source said the experience Kim had with Chicago's surrogate mother makes her more confident about the process. "It's a different experience for Kim when she isn't pregnant," the insider shared. "But she's happy she has been through this before and knows what to expect. She had such a positive experience the first time and is really thrilled to do this again this way."
Their baby boy will join Chicago, who was born a year ago this month, three-year-old Saint, and five-year-old North.
