Leave it an eagle-eyed fan to spot a detail like this!

Fans are preparing for the excitement of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which will combine characters from the original films with the newest franchise members for one more epic adventure. While fans are expecting characters like Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian, played by Billy Dee Williams, to show up again, one fan noticed the tiniest clue that might lead to another surprising character's return.

Vanity Fair released a spotlight piece on The Rise of Skywalker last month, which included exclusive behind-the-scenes photos and official stills of the cast. One of the stills shows Lando Calrissian in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon with Chewbacca and Resistance pilot, Poe Dameron.

CBR reported that, upon closer inspection, one fan noticed Lando is pictured wearing a familiar accessory on his left wrist: the communications device he used in Empire Strikes Back to activate and command his trusted cyborg assistant, Lobot, in Cloud City.

Lobot hasn’t been seen on screen since the 1980 film, but was included the 2017 novel, Star Wars Aftermath: Empire's End, written by Chuck Wendig, as CBR reports. He was also included in a comic book series written by Charles Soule and illustrated by Alex Maleev, which takes place before Lando became the Baron Administrator of Cloud City.

Lobot actor John Hollis passed away in 2005, which would make the character’s inclusion in the new film difficult, if not very unlikely. Although, deaths of actors hasn’t stopped the franchise in the past.

I guess we will find out if another favorite character will be making a return when Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters Dec. 20.
