Who is Tall Boy in 'Riverdale'? Major Reveal Has Fans Shocked
By Natalie Zamora

Per usual, the latest episode of Riverdale was actually insane. Spoilers ahead for anyone who did not tune in to last night's "Chapter Forty-Five: The Stranger."
Apart from some major moments (like, we guess Archie didn't die after all? We could've guessed that one), one huge reveal Riverdale fans have been waiting forever for was given to us: The identity of the Gargoyle King. But as these reveals usually are, many aren't too sure it's actually true. Because it's very random. It's apparently the former Southside Serpent Tall Boy.
After the Serpents unmask him, Tall Boy confesses to various crimes, such as killing Joaquin DeSantos and breaking into Betty Cooper's house. He also confirms Hiram Lodge is the one in charge. And finally, after all the headaches we've gone through to figure out his identity is over, he gets killed. Jughead arrives at the bunker to find him dead, and then there's a big Serpent party right after. FP Jones is also appointed the new sheriff by Hermione Lodge. If you're feeling confused, you're not alone.

If you don't really remember who Tall Boy even was, we don't blame you. Gerald "Tall Boy" Petite, played by Scott McNeil, was a former senior member of the Serpents, and was often at FP's aid. He was instrumental in giving Jughead his Serpents jacket when he was initiated into the gang. And before Toni became Jug's adviser, Tall Boy was his for a short period of time. If you're thinking he sounded like a minor character, he pretty much was. That's why fans are confused and disappointed he's supposedly the Gargoyle King.
Wow the identity of the Gargoyle King was kept for so long and now suddenly it’s Tall Boy?! Wasn’t expecting that... but it’s a bit of an anti climax though? really was expecting it to be one of the main characters #Riverdale pic.twitter.com/BLyYTOvm3A

But knowing Riverdale, we're sure there's more than meets the eye. The CW series continues next Wednesday.
