When to Expect 'Riverdale' to Start Up Again
By Jennifer Fabiano

Riverdale is still on its midseason break, meaning no new episodes have hit the CW Television Network this year yet. The midseason break started after Season 3's episode eight, titled "Outbreak," which aired on Dec. 12. It goes without saying that fans of the show are growing very impatient for it to return.
Well, we won't have to wait too much longer. Season three will return with episode nine on Jan. 16, 2019 at 8 p.m. ET!
Hang in there, #Riverdale will be back soon with new episodes.

Episode nine, titled "No Exit," looks just as dramatic as expected. To many fans' disappointment, it doesn’t seem that Archie and Veronica will be reuniting anytime soon. Veronica can be seen getting even cozier with Reggie in the episode promo video.
Some fans are hoping, however, that the remainder of season three will bring about the romance of Archie and another Riverdale High student, Josie McCoy. There have been hints at a romantic relationship between the two inspiring singers, and a few are hoping that the relationship comes to fruition before the season finale.
In the last episode, we saw Archie lose his beautiful ginger locks and saunter off towards the Canadian border with his dog, Vegas. Betty and Ethel were last seen escaping from the Sister of Quiet Mercy with a group of the asylum’s children in tow.
Veronica was busy telling her mother that she is “relieved of [her] mayoral duties,” but by that time Hiram already had the governor blockade the town with police force. Meanwhile, the Man in Black raised a celebratory glass to the Gargoyle King. Needles to say, we have many questions for the upcoming episodes.
We can't wait to see what type of drama "No Exit" brings for our favorite Riverdale residents on Jan. 16.
