Watch 'Saturday Night Live' Parody 'Game of Thrones' Spinoffs With Kit Harington
By Olivia Montine

When Kit Harington walks into a job hosting Saturday Night Live, it's hard to imagine that the writers wouldn't capitalize on the chance to parody Game of Thrones with Jon Snow in the flesh.
However, the show did not opt to take the more obvious route of having Harington imitate a spinoff of his own character, and instead performed a skit surrounding hilarious possible spinoffs of the HBO series.
The skit, which opened with short teasers for shows like "Cersei and the City" and "The Marvelous Mrs. Melisandre" went into a couple of longer depictions of concepts like "Game of Thrones: Special Victims Unit" nicknamed as "GoT: SVU," and a couple familiar faces made appearances. Mariska Hargitay and Ice-T of Law and Order were in a skit playing their own characters, with them describing a case which sounded straight out of Westeros.
Other shows parodied in the skit include "Arya," a parody of 1990s cartoon "Daria," featuring everyone's favorite high schooler.
We'll be waiting for more from Harington and the rest of the real cast when Game of Thrones returns on April 14.
