Watch Jeremy Renner React to Reports Hawkeye Series is Coming to Disney+

The cast of Avengers: Endgame are currently going through a really rough time. The press tour has begun for their highly-anticipated movie and they are not allowed to say a word about it, so how could they possibly answer any questions? Well, Jeremy Renner and Paul Rudd have come up with a plan that's helping them avoid this.

The two co-stars have devised a plan to ward off those unwanted questions about the plot of Endgame by creating a fictitious movie starring the both of them, called "50 Year Old Virgins." This way, when they're asked about Endgame, they'll talk about their movie instead. Genius, right? Maybe not.

Renner might not have anticipated that he'd be asked about another project when he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, as his standalone Hawkeye TV series for Disney+ was announced the same day.

The host got straight to the point, telling the actor, "Variety reported that you are going to be doing a Hawkeye television series on Disney+."

"Well, look at their name, they do a variety of stories, so they have lots of different things to say," Renner joked, referencing the publication's name. "They do, yeah, but generally, I mean, they're not a tabloid. They're usually pretty right on things," Kimmel argued. "Yeah they are," Renner agreed.

"Oh, they are? They are right on?" Kimmel asked. "And will Hawkeye be Hawkeye in this or Ronin or some combination of the two?" Renner quickly gave the only answer he could: "'50 Year Old Virgins' in theaters now."

Well done, Jeremy Renner, you survived another hard interview. But maybe before the press tour is done, a few spoilers will be dropped. Avengers: Endgame hits theaters April 26.
