VIDEO: Newscasters Tricked Into Making Embarrassing Birthday Announcement

Some people have unfortunate names--but apparently, fake people have the most unfortunate names of all.

KARK 4, an NBC news channel in Little Rock, Arkansas, has found itself at the center of a viral internet video about a name blunder that newscasters annouced when giving a birthday shout out to a person who does not actually exist.

The anchor was wishing a happy 80th birthday to a resident named "E. Norma Stitz" of Quitman--and seemed to realize the verbal blunder about halfway through, referring to her as "Ms. E. Norma" for the rest of the segment.

The video took off on the internet, with accounts like "Barstool News Network" and "Someone's An Idiot" getting thousands of views on the video.

We can't help but feel sorry for the news team that found themselves caught up in the middle of this prank gone wild.
