VIDEO: HBO Shares Hilarious 'Entourage' Parody Ahead of 'Aquaman' Release

Fans of the HBO series Entourage remember protagonist Vinny Chase's big break when he lands the leading role in Aquaman. From there, the once struggling actor is finally in the big leagues, and although he has some major hiccups throughout the show, he can always thank the superhero film for skyrocketing him to stardom.

So when it was announced Jason Momoa would be playing The King of the Seven Seas in the real-life Justice League and now Aquaman, it's safe to say Vinny and the gang wouldn't be pleased.

HBO jumped at the chance to poke fun at the new Warner Bros. film, releasing a parody clip in which Vinny and the guys go out to the theater to watch Aquaman, thinking Vinny is the star in the fictional James Cameron film.

As they see Momoa and Amber Heard on the big screen, all they can do is ask: "What the f**k?"

Yes, quite "aquward."

Back in 2015, Vinny Chase actor Adrian Grenier weighed in on the possibility of making a cameo in James Wan's Aquaman, stating if Johnny "Drama" Chase (Kevin Dillon) got a part, he'd be in. Clearly, that didn't work out.

Aquaman hits theaters this week.
