Vanessa Hudgens returns for Princess Switch 3, watch trailer now
Vanessa Hudgens will reportedly reprise three roles from the previous two Princess Switch films, for the third instalment of Netflix's Christmas franchise. On Thursday, (October 21) Netflix shared a trailer for the upcoming Princess Switch 3 movie.
The two-minute-long trailer lays out the plot of the feature, which will come to the streaming giant on November 18. The first few moments of the teaser start with the chime of bells as the Duchess of fictional Montenaro sends greetings.
"Merry Christmas from Montenaro. This year we're hosting an international Christmas festival featuring a special visitor all the way from the Vatican," she says.
The "special visitor'" is later shown as the Star of Peace, a high-value relic that's enclosed in a glass case.
Things take a turn when the royal is notified that the artifact has been stolen.
Vanessa's two characters hatch a plan to recover the historical object, and then Vanessa's platinum blonde Fiona enters the scene.
