Unlike most of his Marvel co-stars, Tom Holland doesn't see an end to playing his role as Spider-Man. By the time seasoned actors such as Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. got to the end of their contracts it was all but confirmed they'd be done with the franchise, but not Tom Holland. He's going to go out kicking and screaming if he can't find a way to stay in the MCU.

Holland's six-movie contract has almost expired, but he feels there's more from Spider-Man we could see, and is prepared to keep playing him for as long as he can. After Spider-Man: Far From Home, Holland will have just one more MCU film as the webbed superhero. But Holland is clearly down to extend his contract.

"It's an amazing experience as an actor and such a privileged experience as an actor to get to play characters that you love so much time and time again," Holland said during Screen Rant's visit to the Far From Home set. "I definitely have the mindset of, if you want to make 20 of these movies, then I'm down because it's really fun. It's, it's been a real privilege and so much fun. Maybe even more fun this time around than the last one. It's been great."

Since Sony and Marvel have joint custody of Spider-Man, extending Holland's contract would mean that the two companies would have to renegotiate their deal, so we're not sure what's in the cards for Holland's future in the MCU.

But in the meantime, Spider-Man: Far From Home premieres on July 2.
