The Punisher became the latest Marvel series cancelled by Netflix along with Jessica Jones, following Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.

Last week's cancellation was devastating to plenty of fans--of all levels of prominence--who saw The Punisher as the last hope for Marvel shows continuing to appear on the streaming platform.

Just like Daredevil and Luke Cage fans did, a few fans have even started a petition for The Punisher to return and be picked up by a different streaming platform or network.

Similar to its fanbase, one of the show's stars also believes there's a possibility that show will return after its cancellation, but it won't be the same way fans hope. In a interview with TMZ posted today, Jason R. Moore was asked if and how the Marvel series could be revived.

“Man, let me tell you something: It’s going to be very difficult for them to collect all of us, like the original cast," Moore, who played Curtis Hoyle on the show, began. "But I mean, we’re going to be moving on to other stuff, we’ll be busy. But they might bring it on with a different cast. People enjoy it, The Punisher has a serious following, so I mean, it might behoove them to create more Punisher episodes."

Unless The Punisher has Brooklyn Nine-Nine type of luck, we doubt it will be back soon.
