'The Many Saints of Newark' Looking to Cast Extras of All Ages

If you're a diehard fan of the classic HBO series The Sopranos, chances are you're keeping tabs on the upcoming prequel movie The Many Saints of Newark. The film, which is set for a 2020 release, is set during the 1960s riots in the New Jersey city between Italian and African-American communities.

While A-list actors Vera Farmiga, Jon Bernthal, and Ray Liotta have all been tapped for the movie, along with James Gandolfini's son Michael, even fans are now getting their chance to appear in it. NJ.com reports the prequel is looking to cast extras of all ages.

They're reportedly looking for women, men and children of all ages to appear in a scene set in 1967. They are set to film in Newark, New Jersey from May 6 to May 8 at Branford Place between Washington and Broad streets.

Per The Newark Office of Film and Television, if you want to be an extra for the film, you are asked to show up at a casting call that runs from 6 to 9 p.m. on April 25 at Express Newark, located on the second floor of 54 Halsey St.
