This story includes spoilers from 'Avengers: Endgame.'

Avengers: Endgame is a monumental film in MCU history for a variety of reasons, namely due to the incredible box office records it's set as the current second highest-grossing film of all time.

The blockbuster movie was jam-packed with thrills and excitement, but one thing that disappointed many fans was the lack of a post-credits scene. Since 2008's Iron Man, Marvel has made it a tradition to include a scene at the end of its films to preview the cinematic universe's future. In Endgame, all fans got was the clinking sound of Tony Stark creating the first Iron Man suit.

But now, Marvel has added a post-credits scene to the film. Fans still looking to watch Endgame in theaters will be treated with the second Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer, which was released last Monday, after the credits roll.

The trailer picks right up after the events of Endgame, where Peter Parker and the rest of the world are mourning Tony Stark's death. But the major takeaway from the epic trailer was the confirmation that a multiverse exists in the MCU, which fans believe can open up the door for a variety of Marvel characters not yet featured in the MCU.

In hindsight, Marvel and Disney probably regret the decision to not initially include the trailer--or at least a small snippet of it--after Endgame, as it's a perfect way to promote the next chapter of the MCU. But we also understand using the post-credits for an audio-only tribute to Iron Man, as he was the film franchise's first hero.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is set for a July 2 theatrical release.
