'Teen Mom' Stars Are Divided on Jenelle Evans' Firing: Read Their Reactions

Unsurprisingly, fans of Teen Mom 2 have received the news of Jenelle Evans' firing with differing opinions. For the most part, people are glad the controversial family will be off the air, while others don't think Jenelle should be held accountable for her husband David Eason's actions. And it looks like the MTV cast also is a bit divided.

Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer has arguably been the most outspoken, as she took to Twitter just as the news was reported to weigh in. Her first tweet read, "ANYONE that condones/contributes/doesn’t PREVENT or STOP animal cruelty or the murder of an innocent animals life is SICK & I REFUSE to be affiliated with! I want to sympathize for my former cast mate but at this point I can’t. ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!!" She continued on to explain how bad she felt for Jenelle's late dog.

Leah has since been retweeting fans' photos of their dogs, along with messages with the hashtag #JusticeForNugget.

Co-star Kailyn Lowry, who has not had the best history with Jenelle to say the very least, shockingly has remained pretty quiet on the subject on social media, only sharing articles about it.

Teen Mom 3 star Mackenzie McKee made her opinion known, however, telling The Ashley, "MTV for sure made the right decision. I hope they get help and David realizes his behavior is not OK or supported. I lost all respect for him the day he made the comments about the LGBTQ community. [That is] not OK!"

Jenelle's biggest supporter in the Teen Mom cast seems to be Briana DeJesus, which isn't surprising. She told E! News this week that she feels bad for her friend, explaining, "It is really sad that she got cut off. It really sucks for her. I don't think anyone expected this to happen, especially her, but it happened."

"As far as getting fired for something she didn't herself do, sometimes you are guilty by association," Briana added. "Sometimes it happens like that. There is a lot going on right now. She has some projects coming up so she will be okay."

Jenelle herself has since spoken out on being fired, claiming that although she's upset, she's taking this as an opportunity for a new chapter. "David has been here for me since the news broke, he told me to not worry about it and to stay positive," she said, confirming that they are in fact staying together.

This whole thing has been a whirlwind of events, and it's ultimately for the best that Jenelle's lifestyle is not rewarded with the series. We wish her luck in her future endeavors.
