'Teen Mom's Ryan Edwards Reportedly Staying in Jail Until April

Former Teen Mom OG dad Ryan Edwards was arrested on Jan. 23 for theft and possession of heroin. It has now been discovered that Edwards will reportedly remain behind bars until April.

Edwards is the ex of Maci Bookout, who he shares 10-year-old son Bentley with. His wife Mackenzie Standifer gave birth to his second son, Jagger, back in October, while he was in rehab.

The 31-year-old TV star appeared in court Monday morning, a Clerk of Court for Red Bank in Tennessee told Radar Online.

“The case has been continued to April 15, 2019,” the clerk said. “He’s going to serve time in county jail until then.”

This isn't the first time Edwards was brought in on possession of heroin. In fact, when he was arrested this time, Edwards broke probation from a March 2017 possession of heroin charge.

Unfortunately, Edwards has a long history of drug abuse. In May 2017, he checked into rehab when he was filmed falling asleep while driving and slurring his words on the way to his wedding. In March 2018, he failed a drug test and was arrested. Then, in July 2018, he was arrested again for breaking probation from a past possession of heroin charge.

The dad is also being held for theft of services under $1,000, which comes from Bud’s Sports Bar, where a server claimed Edwards drank $36 worth of Jack Daniels Whiskey and left the bar before paying on Dec. 19, 2018.
