'Teen Mom's Mackenzie Edwards Responds to Claim Ryan Was 'Making Fun' of Son Bentley

Mackenzie Edwards is here to set the record straight. After fans took to social media to call out her husband Ryan for how he treated his son Bentley on the March 24 episode of Teen Mom OG, the mom-of-three shared some words.

According to a screenshot from In Touch Weekly, the reality star replied back to an Instagram follower who wrote, “Are you OK with last night’s episode? Your husband needs to get off drugs and needs to stop making fun of his firstborn son that he hardly even sees.” "Were you there?," Mackenzie shot back. "No, but thanks for your input, hippie-stoner.”

Fans were pretty harsh when coming at Ryan and Mackenzie. One chimed in by saying, “Ryan is so mean to Bentley. Like WTF? [And] Mackenzie [doesn’t] even say anything to him? WTF was that about?” Yet again, Mackenzie came to Ryan's defense.

“It was friendly competition,” Mack explained. “Everyone had planned this golf trip weeks in advance with all of the smack talk that went along with it. We had a great time!”

When the same person remarked she thought Bentley looked "scared" of his dad, Mackenzie assured her that's simply not the case. "I can see how you would think that through the show’s lens. But that’s not the case in person," she promised the fan.
