Amber Portwood's outlook on life has been pretty positive lately. And while she and Andrew Glennon might've had a bad breakup in 2019, that's not going to stop them from being the best parents they can be to baby James.

When it comes to her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Amber told Us Weekly, "I am trying to coparent the best way that I can." The Teen Mom OG star also shared that things have been great in their arrangement so far, saying, "I get a lot of people telling me after my days with him: ‘I can tell that you saw James today because you just have that smile on your face.’ When I hear that, I’m like, ‘Yeah. It’s just the truth.'"

Amber was arrested last July on domestic battery charges. After that incident, the parents went their separate ways. Due to the circumstances of her arrest, Amber wasn't allowed to see James at all, but was eventually awarded supervised visitation after a rough period of no contact and what Amber calls a "dark period." The controversial star added to US Weekly, “It was hard work in the beginning. I had a lot of people that were probably against me, obviously, but that’s OK. I just kept trying to focus on myself and my son and my family and I got him back as much as I can right now.”
