'Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry Gets Slammed for Admitting She Doesn't Vaccinate Son Lux

Kailyn Lowry wouldn't claim to be the best mom in the world, but fans can't deny she's one of the more matures mothers on Teen Mom 2 (at least relative to Jenelle Evans), and will do anything for her kids.
However, the mother-of-three just revealed something that can be seriously detrimental to one of her children's health. On Thursday's episode of her podcast, Coffee Convos, Kailyn said she hasn't vaccinated her one-year-old son Lux.
"Lux is 18 months and he is not vaccinated," she told listeners. "He hasn't ever really been sick, and for me, I just think the more research that I do, and the more educated I've become, I just don't vaccinate him."
Kail went on to say she feels "ignorant" for letting doctors vaccinate her first child, Isaac. The reality star's Twitter followers were petrified by her statements and urged her to vaccinate her children.

Many studies have shown the recent movement of parents refusing to vaccinate their kids, known as "anti-vaxxers," are putting their children's lives in serious danger.
However, Kailyn is sticking to her guns and doubled down on her position in a recent interview with In Touch Weekly.
"I guess the only thing I can really say and continue to stand for is to parent how it's best for your child and family," she said. "People don't love everything I do but I don't shove my beliefs down anyone else's throat. I know what's best for my kids and other parents know what's best for theirs."
Kailyn is definitely entitled to her beliefs, but we hope someone talks some sense into her and make her aware of the fact that not vaccinating her children makes them a public health risk.
