'Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans Jets Off to Florida to Film With Briana DeJesus

Jenelle Evans and husband David Eason made waves a couple of weeks ago for splitting and subsequently getting back together. It's exactly the type of juicy drama that's great for Teen Mom 2 cameras, but fans won't see what caused the split and eventual reunion.

Eason was fired from the show in Feb. 2018 for both his comments about the tragic Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting and his terribly homophobic and transphobic posts.

Jenelle defended her husband's comments and even threatened to quit the show for the way it portrays her. However, she is still on this season's Teen Mom 2, even though producers have had a difficult time filming anything of value since David cannot appear on the show.

Thus far, this season has mainly consisted of Jenelle talking with her mom, Barbara. "It's hard for her to film her life when her husband is not included," Barbara told producers. "Everything she does with her family, with her husband, can't be filmed. She said they don't understand how stressful that is."

But now, it looks like MTV has found a role for the mother-of-three. Radar Online reported this past Wednesday that Jenelle would be traveling to Florida to film with co-star Briana DeJesus.

"She is staying for three days to talk and catch up," a production source told the publication of the trip, which is set to air on the current Teen Mom 2 season.

"It's pretty much because Jenelle can't film with David so they need some type of storyline for her," the source added. The 27-year-old reality star has since been posting on social media about her trip to Florida.

Briana is one of Jenelle's few co-stars she actually gets along with, so hopefully she doesn't blow this friendship, because if she does, she may also get the boot from MTV.
