'Stranger Things' Star Millie Bobby Brown Auditioned for 'Logan'

Though she's best recognized as the psychokinetic and fan-favorite character Eleven on Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown almost played the role of another badass character.

The actress was in contention for the role of X-23 in the X-Men movie Logan, and was thrilled to audition for the role of the young mysterious girl.

"I went for it. It meant so much to me," Brown said in a 2017 interview with Variety. "I was filming Stranger Things and I was like, 'This is gonna be amazing, I'm gonna really prepare,' and I sat in my room reading the lines."

And there was no nervousness on Brown's end auditioning in front of the film's main star and its director. "Honestly, for me... I felt an actor, in the audition room, hitting Hugh Jackman, and James Mangold sitting right in front of me," she shared.

Even though Brown believes the audition was the best of her young career, the role ultimately went to then-newcomer Dafne Keen. The Stranger Things star did praise Keen's performance, however. "I watched it; [Keen] was incredible," she said.

Brown will return for Stranger Things' third season, which premieres on July 4.
