Although production on Stranger Things Season 4 has officially been put on hold amid the Coronavirus pandemic, that doesn't mean there aren't things for fans of the Netflix series to look forward to. As we're all likely re-binging the first three seasons as we work from home and practice social distancing, we've now gotten a new tidbit about what's to come from the soundtrack's producer.
According to Express.co.uk, the producer for Season 4's soundtrack, Dmitry Fedorov, spoke with the publication recently and dished on what fans can expect when it comes to the music in the upcoming episodes. "The creative process has only begun, so some of the tracks are still not recorded and got only a working title," he began, also adding, "Most of the tracks are deeply connected to the script, but not in a narrative way."
Apparently, the soundtrack this time around is making some changes, with Fedorov revealing, "I believe some of the titles performed by guest artists will be quite popular even beyond the bounds of Stranger Things." A few features from famous singers? I'm intrigued.
And while he remained tight-lipped on what exactly happens in Season 4, Fedorov did provide a bit of a tease. "I was [given details about season four], but unfortunately, I can't share much of it before the release," he stated. "The only thing I can reveal is that there will be a lot of plot twists in the new season, and they will definitely surprise viewers." Cannot wait!
Sadly, Season 4 of Stranger Things does not have a release date yet, and it might be a while until it does, considering filming is on pause. But in the meantime, let's all revisit Hawkins, Indiana again and again, and if you need new content to watch while you're stuck at home, check out these awesome deals here for Sling TV to catch up on all the latest series and movies.
