Netflix has finally answered the prayers of all Stranger Things fans, giving a juicy announcement about what's next for the beloved sci-fi series.

Three years have passed since viewers last saw Eleven, Mike and their gang of friends on bikes going their separate ways at the end of season three. Ahead of the kids' first year of high school, fans were left wondering when and if they would get to reunite.

The wait is almost over as the streamer has shared the release date of the upcoming fourth season. It looks like the series' creators, the Duffer Brothers, have decided to double down on the fun, splitting the new batch of episodes into two volumes, premiering on May 27 and July 1 this year respectively.

Then, the show will finish for good with a fifth and final season.

The third season might have first streamed three years ago, but the fourth installment takes place only six months after the devastating Battle of Starcourt.
