Although production was put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, what we know so far about season four of Stranger Things sounds awesome. It was revealed in February that Hopper is alive, and we also know that we will be learning about the police chief's past this season. Steve Harrington actor Joe Keery also revealed that season four will be "a lot scarier than prior years," so needless to say, we're super excited.

According to GamesRadar, series creators Matt and Ross Duffer recently did an interview with Deadline where they gave updates on production and discussed another aspect of season four that fans should look forward to: great guest stars.

“We have some cool [guest stars]. A couple of cool ones this year,” Matt Duffer said. “It’s a really fun way to get to meet one of your icons, you know? Write a part for them and see if they want to do it… these are actors we grew up watching so it’s amazing and surreal.” Previous seasons have had a star-studded list of guest stars, including Sean Astin, Cary Elwes, and Paul Reiser.

Unfortunately, there seems to be a longer wait for season four than fans had hoped for, with Matt Duffer recalling, “We did three weeks of shooting when we shut down, pretty much along with the entire industry.”

Whenever production is safe to resume, Eleven actress Millie Bobby Brown assured fans they'll be jumping right back into it. I cannot wait to see what season four has to offer!
