The Russo brothers have got their next project on deck, and it hits close to home. While fans wait for the arrival of Avengers: Endgame, the directing duo are embarking on a new project that showcases the life of the man who brought them the characters in their latest Marvel movie. A Stan Lee documentary will be coming soon from the Endgame directors.

Sadly, Endgame will feature the last of Stan Lee's famous cameos. But the directors have a great idea to keep the late comic book mogul's legacy alive.

"We love Stan Lee and I think it's incredibly special that Endgame will be his final cameo," Anthony Russo told IANS. "We are fascinated by the life of Stan Lee and we are actually developing a little something that has to do with his work in the history of Marvel. But we are not ready to present it or talk about it yet. It's more of a documentary."

The documentary isn't the only tribute surfacing about the comic book creator, as Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige says they are compiling all of Lee's cameos into one video.

The directing duo isn't fessing up many details concerning the documentary, but fans can be rest assured it will honor Lee in the way he deserves. In the meantime, their first Avengers: Endgame hits theaters this Friday.
