Peter Parker is back!

After the events of Avengers: Infinity War, it was kind of hard for us to even look at Tom Holland as Spider-Man without feeling a bit emotional to say the least. But thankfully, we now have a way to look forward to seeing our favorite Queens-native again. The first teaser trailer for his second standalone film, Spider-Man: Far From Home, is here!

Besides the joy of seeing Spider-Man alive and well again, this teaser trailer actually has a lot to unpack, and speculation is now increasing as to whether this film occurs after Infinity War or after Endgame. Arguably the most exciting part of the clip is Jake Gyllenhaal appearing towards the end as Mysterio, who is meant to be the main antagonist in the film.

Gyllenhaal took to Instagram with his very first post on Dec. 5 to finally confirm the reports he'd be in the upcoming film. The hilarious clip shows him reading The Amazing Spider-Man #311: The Return of the Man Called Mysterio, clearly shocked by what he just read. The caption joked he had just found out he wasn't playing Spider-Man.
