Sophie Turner Says Sansa and Jon Will Be Fighting a Lot in 'Game of Thrones' Season 8
By Olivia Montine

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Sophie Turner opened up about her character's delicate position with her brother Jon Snow in Game of Thrones season eight, which premieres tonight.
"Her relationship with Jon is struggling because he’s so clearly in love with Daenerys and believes in her completely," the 23-year-old actress said. "Sansa thinks she’s power-hungry and not the rightful queen. There’s a huge amount of fighting between Sansa and Jon."
At the beginning of season eight, Sansa will be in a difficult position--trying to manage the North on her own and Jon Snow having an alliance with Daenerys Targaryen.
The actress also talked about the difficulty of moving on from a show she has been working on for eight seasons, and saying goodbye to a character she had literally grown up with. "I don’t think it’s hit me at all. I don’t think it will hit me until summer comes around and we’re supposed to be filming again and we won’t be going to Belfast. I’ve really been just enjoying time off. I’ve been taking months off to just do nothing, and that’s been healing," Turner shared.
We'll be waiting anxiously to see what happens to Sansa when GoT comes back tonight at 9 p.m. EST.
