Sophie Turner Reveals She Met Joe Jonas After He Slid Into Her DMs

It's easy to forget how similar our favorite celebrities are to us, but then little things, such as finding out Joe Jonas sliding into Sophie Turner's DMs before they began to date, come to the surface and remind us of how human we all are.

The Game of Thrones star opened up in her interview with Harper's Bazaar, which she is on the May cover for, about life as the fiancé of a Jonas Brother--including the adorable way in which the two started talking.

“We had a lot of mutual friends. And they’d been trying to introduce us for a long time,” the actress behind Sansa Stark shared. "We were following each other on Instagram and he direct-messaged me one fine day, out of the blue."

She went on to gush about her fiancé, saying, "He’s lovely. He’s just the funniest. You wouldn’t expect he’s about to turn 30 this year. He’s the most fun, energetic, positive person I’ve ever seen. I’m pessimistic, so we balance each other out."

The two dated for about a year before getting engaged, and are reportedly getting married in a small ceremony this summer.
