Sophie Turner Confirms 'Game of Thrones' Co-Star Maisie Williams Will Be Her Maid of Honor

Break out the tissues and get ready to cry some happy tears.

Everyone knows Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams' friendship has truly grown throughout the 10-year run of filming their hit show Game of Thrones. So it should come as no surprise Turner has officially asked Williams to be her maid of honor at her wedding to fiancé Joe Jonas this summer.

Turner broke the news to Entertainment Tonight at the New York City premiere of Season 8 last night.

“I don’t know why she’s thinking about [what she’s wearing to my wedding]. I’m giving her the bridesmaid dress!” Turner said when she found out Williams was trying to pick out an outfit.

“She’s my maid of honor! One of two,” Turner confirmed.

The onscreen sisters have matching tattoos of the date they were cast in Thrones, and have been very vocal on the fact that it was friendship at first sight when they met at auditions. Turner's wedding will just be another stepping stone in a great, lifelong friendship.

Turner and Jonas have been engaged since Oct. 2017, and plan to wed this year during the summertime. The musician supported Turner by attending the premiere last night as well.

“It’s just like, the best support, the best person to calm me down and keep me calm, and if I end up crying, I have a shoulder to cry on,” Turner said of her fiancé. “So, it’s good. I’m so happy that he’s here.”

We cannot wait for photos of this wedding, and just know it'll be Game of Thrones star-studded.
