Sofia Richie Explains Why She Won't Appear on 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians'

We couldn't imagine having our lives as closely monitored as reality television stars like the Kardashians--and apparently, neither can Sofia Richie.

20-year-old Richie has been an item with Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian's ex and father to her three children, since 2017. With the release of the drama-packed 16th season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians quickly approaching, the inevitable question of whether or not Sofia will be on the show has arisen.

“Not that I’m against it, [but] I’m just very private,” Richie revealed when asked why she would not be on the show's newest season. With Disick's new house flipping show set to premiere on E! as well, the star still declined the chance to work with her beau. “Oh, God no. He’s the expert,” she said. “I might put in my two cents, but he’s the expert.”

“Everyone has their own choices and nobody should have to do anything they don’t want to do," Disick added about his girlfriend's decision to stay out of the spotlight. "It’s her choice.”

Richie's decision makes complete sense, as the choice to broadcast your life to the public certainly isn't any easy one to make. We look forward to seeing more of the happy couple, even if it's not during the television series.
