Shawn Mendes Hints at Romantic Relationship With Camila Cabello During Fan Q&A

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s relationship has been heating up, both on and off stage, but despite the obvious chemistry between the couple, they have still been keeping their romance private.

However, Us Weekly reports that, after a concert at Uncasville, Connecticut this week, Mendes did a tell-all interview with fans. The 21-year-old singer answered question after question from his beloved followers, but when it came time to talk about romance, he decided to keep things ambiguous…well, sort of.

One fan posted a video on Twitter of the singer being asked, “You’ve said you’ve never been in love, has that changed recently?” clearly hinting at the relationship with his “Señorita” collaborator.

Mendes eloquently replied to the giggling crowd, “Honestly, I wanna say I wanna talk to you guys about this stuff, but it’s not just me in the relationship. There’s another person involved and I can’t say things that I feel. It’s not just me deciding, you know?”

Mendes and Cabello, 22, first sparked romance rumors in 2015 when they worked on the song “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” The two denied dating rumors at the time, and Cabello then dated British dating coach Matthew Hussey for over a year before splitting in June 2019.

Since then, Cabello and Mendes have been inseparable, and have been spotted canoodling multiple times by paparazzi.

Though Mendes didn’t give us too much to obsess over in his fan Q&A, at least he finally called it a relationship.
