By Hannah Wigandt

Fans can now be reassured that a Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will still be made despite director James Gunn being axed from his directing role. The movie is still in the works, however Gunn is now switching over to the DC Universe to direct and write new Suicide Squad movie.
The Associated Press talked to Gunn's brother, Sean Gunn, who plays Kraglin and does the motion capture for Rocket Raccoon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor firmly said that even though his brother is gone, the film will be made eventually.

"Well, my brother is doing Suicide Squad 2 right now, which I'm really excited about and I know he's really excited about," Gunn said. "I don't know what's going on beyond that. I mean, Guardians 3 is gonna get made. We're gonna make that movie, and we'll figure out what happens there, but you know, everything ends up having a way of working itself out I think."
Gunn was fired last year after offensive tweets he made in 2008 and 2009 resurfaced, but since then, nearly the entire cast of Guardians have rallied for him to be reinstatement as director.
"Things got a little bit crazy for a minute because outrage overwhelmed common sense," Gunn continued. "We're gonna get there, we're gonna make our movie and we're gonna find our way. Maybe it took a couple of years longer than it was supposed to, but so what."
We will hopefully see some of the Guardians when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26, 2019.
