'Riverdale's Luke Perry Dies at Age 52 Following Stroke

Heartbreaking news comes this morning, as TMZ reports actor Luke Perry has passed away at the age of 52.

Perry, most notable for his role as Dylan McKay in Beverly Hills, 90210 and more recently for playing Archie Andrew's dad Fred on Riverdale, reportedly suffered a "massive" stroke in his Sherman Oaks, California home on Wednesday, Feb. 27, and was rushed to the hospital soon after. His condition was unknown in the days following.

Reportedly, Perry passed away this morning at St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank, California. TMZ reports the actor was surrounded by his two children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, and sister Amy Coder at the time of his death.

We're sure the tributes to the late actor from his former co-stars will star pouring in any moment now. RIP to Luke Perry. Gone too soon.
