Luann de Lesseps is here to remind us she's only human.

The 53-year-old reality star just opened up to US Weekly about her daily hardships, which most prominently includes staying sober. Luann checked into a rehab facility for the first time after her 2017 arrest, where she was charged with battery, trespassing, and disorderly intoxication.

Following treatment, the singer unfortunately relapsed in 2018, which led to another stint in rehab. Although she was forced to miss the Season 10 Real Housewives of New York reunion because of it, fans were glad she was getting help.

Speaking to the publication, Luann explains:

"I take it day by day. Every day is a struggle and I’m no different than anyone else. I do the best that I can do. I get on the stage and that keeps me busy and it keeps me focused on my cabaret, and I get to put my creative energy into that and it keeps me out of trouble. I’m just doing yoga and taking care of myself and hanging out with less people that are prone to partying."

"If you can get through Housewives without drinking, you can get through anything," Luann adds.

Although we're sure it truly is difficult continuing her sobriety journey, we are extremely proud of the progress Luann has made and her dedication to a better life.
