Being on one of television's most popular shows can definitely have an affect on a person. This has proven to be psychologically damaging on Game of Thrones stars, according to Kit Harington and Sophie Turner. And now, Thrones actor Daniel Portman has opened up on about how the show has affected him in another way.

Portman, who plays Podrick in Thrones, the squire notorious for his lovemaking skills, told Esquire he's been groped by many female fans multiple times during the show.

“I’ve been grabbed by so many … like the amount of like older, older women who are very …” Portman said, making a grabbing-hand gesture. “What can you do? You know? Obviously tell them not to do it. It hasn’t happened for a while. In this day and age you’d think that people would be able to separate reality from fiction. I don’t want to say it comes with the territory, but, you know, people are crazy about it. It’s certainly not cool.”

Despite fans getting handsy, Portman said he still enjoyed playing the lovable squire. “It's really not a bad thing, to be tied to your character,” he added.

“It's the innocence, it's the honesty and the sweetness in a world where there isn't a lot of that,” Portman continued on his character. “There's a lot of Machiavellian tactics and underhandedness, and to have a guy who is none of those things and is just as honest to the core and selfless and loyal—people like when they see something good happening to him, you know?”

We'll all be hoping Podrick survives the Battle of Winterfell in the next episode of Game of Thrones.
