People Are Divided as Kylie Jenner Wears Super Long Braid for New Photoshoot

The youngest Kardashian-Jenner sibling is famously a fan of changing her hair. Using what I can only imagine is an impressive collection of wigs and extensions, 22-year-old Kylie has sported everything from rainbow braids to bleach blonde locks.

The cosmetics mogul’s latest hairstyle now has fans divided. Ky took a tropical vacation this past weekend and true to form, she shared plenty of photos on Instagram from the fun getaway. She posted several photos of herself sitting poolside on a diving board, sporting a braid longer than she is tall. She tagged celebrity stylist Jesus Guerrero in the photos. The reality star also wore unreleased sneakers designed in a collaboration between Nike and her ex-boyfriend, Travis Scott.

Fans and celebrities alike had their opinions on Jenner's look. Teen Vogue reports that Jamie Lynn Spears thought the hair was "a snake at first glance" but said it was "still gorg," and some fans compared her to Rapunzel. Even older sister Khloé Kardashian had something to say about it, commenting, “Don’t ever call me extra again.” Others likened the tail-like braid to the film Avatar, and one Instagram user even wrote, "Truly is the year of the rat."

Jenner posted several pictures wearing the braid by the pool and on the beach. While opinions on the look are mixed, I think we can all agree the vacation spot is enviable.
