Only Murders in the Building season 2 is a go! Selena Gomez subtly drops bombshell renewal

Selena Gomez - who recently sparked dating rumors with OG Captain America, Chris Evans - has thrown fans into a frenzy after hinting a season 2 of Only Murders in the Building has been approved! The actress and songstress shared a picture of herself from the set of the popular murder mystery with her 268 million Instagram followers, revealing she: "Can’t wait to shoot season 2!".

Only Murders in the Building - starring Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short - is one of the most popular tv shows on Hulu right now and with only one more episode until its finale, we are absolutely thrilled at the idea of a season 2 in the works!

Up until now there hasn't really been much news on a season 2, but if we're honest we weren't too worried about that since the overall response to the show has been beyond positive, but, nevertheless, we can now release a huge sigh of relief.

That being said, Hulu hasn't actually made an official statement on Only Murders in the Building season 2 - YET! - so this statement from Selena Gomez very well might be something she accidentally let slip. We have no doubt the producers and network would want to make a pretty big deal about the announcement of season 2, so someone could very well find themselves on the receiving end of an angry phone call in the morning.
