'Once Upon a Deadpool' New Post-Credits Scenes Explained
By Natalie Zamora

Fans of Deadpool and his movie series no doubt love the character because of just how crude and inappropriate he is. He’s a superhero, but he’s also hilarious, spontaneous, and downright immature at times. So when it was announced a PG-13 Deadpool 2 was being released, many were not interested in seeing it, as it seemed to be just a cut-down version of the epic sequel. Well, once promo for the film, appropriately titled Once Upon a Deadpool, began, opinions changed.
The Once Upon a Deadpool trailers promised new material, which although wouldn’t be so outright crude, would still provide us with new jokes to laugh at. But we weren’t prepared for anything as emotional as the new post-credits scenes included.
Spoilers Ahead.
According to GamesRadar, instead of simply censoring the epic post-credits scenes from Deadpool 2, the new film has all new footage, beginning with Deadpool and Fred Savage talking about how awesome post-credits scenes are, of course. The original Deadpool 2 post-credits scenes then play- yes, cut down some for a PG-13 rating- before the heartfelt part comes.
The final part of the post-credits scenes is a tribute to the late Marvel mogul Stan Lee. *Get the tissues ready.* We get to see Lee’s outtakes from his Deadpool 2 teaser cameo, eventually leading into an interview where he’s asked what he wants to be remembered for. His answer? As someone who “wrote some really good stories.” Aw!
