Olivia Munn Confirms She's Not in 'X-Men: Dark Phoenix'

Dark Phoenix will be the next installment into the prequel X-Men series which started in 2011 with X-Men: First Class. The star-studded cast will call back alums Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, who plays Jean Grey/Phoenix. But not all of the cast members from the previous movies are returning.

Olivia Munn has confirmed she will not be in the movie. The actress, who played Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse, talked to Entertainment Tonight Canada about the upcoming film. “I can’t say anything because last time I said a little bit they sent me a note. But I’m not in it,” she said.

She went on to say her role in Predator prevented her from taking on the X-Men role again. “I was filming ‘Predator’ at the time so there wasn’t time for me to film it and so I’m not in it. I will tell you guys," Munn added.

Like any big blockbuster movie to come out nowadays, X-Men: Dark Phoenix is being held under lock and key without any spoilers. Well, at least Marvel fans have a title and trailer for their new movie (*cough, cough, Star Wars*).
